What Raad is
Governance for DAOs: spaces, proposals and signed votes.
What Raad does
Raad is where a DAO decides. Members publish proposals, vote on them with their wallet, and each result counts the voting power every address holds.
- A space is a community's home: its proposals, its members, its rules.
- A proposal asks the space a question, with its choices and a voting window.
- A vote is a message your wallet signs. It costs no gas.
- Voting power comes from the space's strategies: token balances, delegations and more, counted as they stood when the proposal was published.
How it fits together
Raad runs as a few services, each with its own address:
| Service | Address | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| The app | app.raad.vote | Where you read, vote, delegate and run your space. |
| Public data (the hub) | hub.raad.vote/graphql | Stores spaces, proposals and votes, and serves them to anyone. |
| Signed messages (the sequencer) | seq.raad.vote | Receives signed messages: votes, proposals, follows, settings. |
| Voting power (scores) | score.raad.vote | Counts each voter's power with the space's strategies. |
Everything the app shows comes from the hub, and everything you sign goes to the sequencer, which checks it first. You can use both directly: see the GraphQL API and the sequencer. Whether each one answers right now: Status.
