Test with an address
See an address's power under your strategies before saving.
In Settings under Voting, Test with an address shows what an address's voting power would be under the strategies you are editing, before you save them.
How to use it
- Edit the strategies.
- Paste an address, for example a known holder or your own.
- Raad counts its power with the edited strategies, now, and shows the total and each strategy's part.
A strategy that cannot be counted, for example a contract with no balance function on that network or a strategy with incomplete settings, says why in plain words. The others still count, and the total says which strategy it leaves out.
Nothing is signed or saved: it only reads.
Why it helps
A strategy with a wrong contract address, a missing decimals setting or the wrong network still saves, but counts nothing. Testing a holder you know catches that before your next proposal.
